Oct 15, 1960 – All 4 members of The Beatles had their first session together.

The Beatles (minus drummer Pete Best at the time) and two members of Rory Storm’s Hurricanes (Ringo Starr and Lou Walters) recorded a version of George Gershwin’s ‘Summertime’ in a small studio in Hamburg, Germany. This became the first session that included John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo.

McCartney later recorded the song again for his Russian Снова в СССР album in 1988.
