Culture Corner correspondent John Morrison joins host Raina Douris

In celebration of Black History Month, World Cafe brings you “The Black Innovators of Rock & Roll.” Every week, all month long, John Morrison will dig deep into the music of Black artists who shaped rock music, decade by decade. Coming up, we’ll hear bands from the late ‘80s and the ‘90s – like Living Colour; Morrison talks about their biggest hit, “Cult Of Personality,” AND one of their lesser known records that’s a revelation in genre-blending. Plus, he’ll examine a couple songs by the eclectic cult band, Fishbone!
