Katie Pruitt joins host Stephen Kallao

Katie Pruitt was brought up in a religious household in suburban Atlanta without a lot of gay role models, and with parents who worried she would be judged by others for being gay. Eventually she started writing songs, moved to Nashville, and – through her music – tackled many of the issues she’d grown up with. Katie joins host Stephen Kallao today to talk about coming out, and how her music might help others who are trying to. Plus, we’ll hear a live studio performance of songs from her debut album, Expectations.
