Julien Baker joins host Raina Douris

At the start of her career, Julien Baker felt she had to present her personal experiences in a positive light – from her religious upbringing, to coming out, and getting sober. Then in 2019, she took a break from touring and re-evaluated her music and how she shares her feelings. Her new album, Little Oblivions, dives into the relationship we have with our feelings. On the next World Cafe, Julien talks with host Raina Douris about her break, what she learned, and how she’s still learning. Plus, we’ll hear a live set of some of the new music.
