Franz Ferdinand joins host Stephen Kallao

Franz Ferdinand became more than a historical figure with the release of the Scottish rock band’s self-titled album in 2004, featuring hits like Take Me Out and This Fire. Over 20 years later, they’re still going strong, with a new album about overcoming your demons, called The Human Fear. Band co-founders Alex Kapranos and Bob Hardy join World Cafe to talk about why fear was at the heart of their new album, and we’ll hear live performances recorded for the show.
