WC 30th Anniversary show with host Raina Douris

World Cafe is diving into the archives for a 30th anniversary celebration that will continue through this Spring! This time, we’ll go back to 1993 for a backstage sit-down with Leonard Cohen, recorded while he was touring behind his album The Future. AND, a more recent interview with Julien Baker, who got really excited when the conversation led to one of her favorite bands as a teenager. But World Cafe’s anniversary is not only about looking back, it’s also about looking forward – In a segment called “30 Under 30,” host Raina Douris highlights an artist under 30 years old who’s poised to be the next generation of World Cafe stars.
