Encore: Brittany Howard joins host Stephen Kallao

The band Alabama Shakes took home the 2016 Grammy for Best Rock Performance thanks, in large part, to the powerful vocals and guitar work of Brittany Howard. She recently released her debut solo album, called Jamie. We’ll hear her conversation with host Stephen Kallao today, as she shares the meaning behind some of the new songs, and about her childhood with her late sister, who the record is named after. All that and an incredible live performance from Brittany Howard. On this encore edition of the World Cafe.
