Illiterate Light join host Stephen Kallao

Jeff Gorman and Jake Cochran make a lot of sound for a two-piece on their self-titled debut, Illiterate Light. Their striking live show features Jake playing drums standing up, as Jeff plays guitar and adds bass lines with foot pedals. Long before they signed a major label deal, the friends worked together on an organic farm in the Shenandoah Valley and toured the mid-Atlantic by bicycle. Jeff and Jake are still thinking about new environmentally responsible ways to tour the world, which we’ll hear about today. And they perform live in the studio.
