Mannequin Pussy / Waxahatchee joins host Raina Douris

There aren’t a lot of opportunities in life to just scream, and that’s what Mannequin Pussy frontperson Missy Dabice was looking for when she started the band over a decade ago. There’s still screaming on the band’s latest album, I Got Heaven, but Missy will talk about how her songwriting has evolved, in one of World Cafe’s best interviews of 2024.
