Black Snake Moan joins host Raina Douris

The one-man band Black Snake Moan may be based in Rome, but his psychedelic, bluesy, guitar music brings to mind images of the American Southwest. In fact, he grew up in a section of Italy that he says shares some similarities with that part of America. On the World Cafe, he talks about that, as well as his love of Blind Lemon Jefferson and why decided to move to Rome to make music. Plus, live performances, all recorded at Rome’s Studio 33.
