Beabadoobee joins host Raina Douris

In just four years, Beabadoobee has gone from recording songs in her bedroom to making an album with Rick Rubin at his Shangri-La studio in Malibu, California. On the World Cafe, Beabadoobee joins us to talk about how she’s maintained the same intimacy and honesty in her songwriting – even as the recording environment has rapidly changed. She also talks about Elliott Smith and Taylor Swift as songwriting inspirations, and she performs songs from her new album, This Is How Tomorrow Moves.

Listen to the session here.
