October 21, 1976: Keith Moon’s Final Live Performance.  

39 years ago today, Keith Moon played his final show with The Who at the last show of their North American tour at Maple Leaf Gardens, Toronto. It was almost 2 years later on September 7, 1978, that Moon died of an overdose of medication he was prescribed to prevent seizures induced by alcohol withdrawal.
