Nirvana fans are, well, in nirvana today after a fan releases a bootleg recording of one of their shows from exactly 25 years ago!

The gig took place at the Satyricon venue in Portland on January 12, 1990 which is rumored to be show where frontman Kurt Cobain met Courtney Love. The show also features Dale Crover of Melvins on the drums (Dave Grohl did not join the band until later that year.

Listen above.  It’s no Neil Young PONO sound, but definitely worth the listen for any Nirvana fan.
