Some of the sleeve notes from CD version of today’s Final Vinyl – “Hard Workin’ Man” by Captain Beefheart from the Blue Collar soundtrack.  These were written by Alan Robinson in June 1995 and share the famed story of Ry Cooder locking Captain Beefheart in the studio.  The film and album came out in 1978.
