June 11th was not a good day for The Beatles original Drummers!

Today in 1960, The Beatles (then The Silver Beatles) Drummer Tommy Moore (pictured above) made the fateful decision to quit The Beatles and return to his day job driving a forklift at Garston bottle works. 

Then, just two years later on June 11th, 1962 – Drummer Pete Best would record his last set with the band on a BBC radio program, “Here We Go”.
