Alvvays joins host Raina Douris
Blue Rev didn’t just become one of Alvvays’ most experimental and beautiful albums overnight. In fact, it had to be completely remade after frontwoman Molly Rankin’s home was robbed, including a hard drive of early demos for a new record. Fortunately, the band was able to carry on and, with the help of producer Shawn Everett, new life was given to Blue Rev. Hear Alvvays perform songs from the collection live, and Rankin discusses a whole bunch of things that inspired it – from bagpipes, to sugary blue alcoholic drinks, to Pomeranians.
