Kurt Vile joins host Stephen Kallao

Kurt Vile’s new EP was a project five years in the making. The goal behind Speed, Sound, Lonely KV was to make a record influenced by the country music he admired – But he got to take it one step further when one of his heroes, John Prine, joined him in the studio for a duet of Prine’s song “How Lucky.” Vile tells that story today in an interview with host Stephen Kallao, and we’ll find out what inspired the indie rocker to make a Nashville record in the first place.
