Encore: Buddy Guy joins host David Dye – Raina Douris hosts “Sense Of Place: Chicago”

For World Cafe’s Sense of Place: Chicago series, it’s one of the greatest guitarists of all time and a vital figure in Chicago Blues, Buddy Guy. When he moved to the city in 1957, he was surrounded by major players like Muddy Waters – Coming up, we’ll find out how a 21 year-old Buddy set himself apart from greats of the time. The legend was still playing over 100 shows a year, often at his own Chicago venue, when he visited the Cafe in 2013. Tune in for his conversation with original host, David Dye.
