Michigander joins host Stephen Kallao

Michigander’s latest EP was set to be released sooner, but a broken leg interrupted big tour plans and threatened to derail the indie rock band’s significant rise in profile over the past few years. But now – It Will Never Be The Same is out, and it’s a highwater mark for Jason Singer and his band. Even though they’ve been making music together for nearly a decade, it feels like Michigander is just getting started. Singer joins host Stephen Kallao to talk about his long journey, from playing bars as a teenager, to recording in the “Prince Room” at Sunset Sound Studios. And Michigander performs live.
