Encore: Sonny Rollins joins host David Dye from 2007

World Cafe digs into the archives to revisit a session with one of the greatest jazz performers ever, Sonny Rollins. The saxophone legend stopped by in 2007 when he had just released the studio album, Sonny Please. In a conversation with original host David Dye, we’ll hear about some of his first gigs, and what it was like growing up in Harlem when jazz was in its prime.
