Dehd joins host Raina Douris

Shy as a kid, Emily Kempf never thought of herself as a singer. But now she leads the Chicago trio Dehd. The band just released their latest album, Poetry, and on the next World Cafe, we revisit our 2020 session with Dehd, where Emily talks about how getting sober led to her discovering her love of performing and why she enjoys the stage so much more than the studio.
