Today, we’re going to hear from pre-superstar John Mayer. Right before the release of his debut album, Room For Squares, in 2001, he stopped by World Cafe to talk about the song “No Such Thing,” which wasn’t yet a radio hit, and performs that song and more, live. Room For Squares would go on to sell over 4 million copies and win him his first Grammy award, but none of that had happened yet.
