Fontaines D.C. joins host Stephen Kallao
Every member of post-punk band Fontaines D.C. recently moved to London, after starting their career in their longtime home of Dublin, Ireland. That move, and the feelings it inspired, are at the heart of their new album, Skinty Fia – It asks big questions about what it means to be Irish…Even when you’re away from home. On the next World Cafe, hear guitarists Carlos O’Connell and Connor Curley talk about the big move and about what it’s been like touring in the United States. Plus, Fontaines D.C. perform live at World Cafe Live in Philadelphia.
