Lyle Lovett joins host Stephen Kallao

12th Of June is Lyle Lovett’s first album in a decade. During that time he started a family, marrying his longtime partner and having twins…And naturally it influenced his new music. Lovett’s signature wit comes through on songs about becoming a father – with playful titles like “Pants Is Overrated” and “Pig Meat Man.” On the next World Cafe, Lovett shares about the record and reflects on his long and storied career, going back to when he first got signed at age 28.
