Hazel English joins host Stephen Kallao

Before releasing her debut album Wake UP!, Hazel English was working on her college thesis. The thesis was written as a science fiction novel, which she says influenced the sound of her new record – along with some more obvious influences, like 1960s psychedelia and soul music. Today, Hazel joins host Stephen Kallao to discuss her move from Australia to Los Angeles, and the differences between writing literature and writing songs. Plus, a live performance of some of her new music.
