Sense of Place Japan: luvis and Little Soul Cafe join host Raina Douris

Born in Kyoto and now based in Tokyo, Luvis brings together jazz, soul, and pop influences to craft heartfelt, personal songs. On the World Cafe, we kick off our Sense of Place: Japan series hearing some of those songs recorded live in Tokyo along with an interview where Luvis shares what it has been like building his career in Japan. Plus, a visit to one of Tokyo’s many vinyl bars, Little Soul Cafe.
