Encore: Blondie joins host Talia Schlanger
Blondie, who gave us classics like “Heart of Glass” and “Rapture,” is releasing a new definitive box set – and with over 100 tracks, it’s definitely something superfans should have their eye on. Ahead of the collection’s release this Friday, we’re going back to a conversation with Debbie Harry and Chris Stein on the World Cafe from 2017 – We’ll hear stories about their early days coming up in New York City playing the legendary club CBGB, AND Blondie’s experimentation over the years, fusing new wave with punk, disco, and even rap.
