Encore: Hurray For The Riff Raff joins host Stephen Kallao

Hurray For The Riff Raff band leader Alynda Segarra says of their latest record: it’s a memoir. Life On Earth has an intimate sound that’s a departure from the band’s previous work, like their big, bold 2017 album, The Navigator. On the World Cafe, we’ll revisit Hurray For The Riff Raff’s live performance from earlier this year and Alynda’s conversation with host Stephen Kallao about the band’s musical transformation, which took root during the pandemic.
