The Prison Music Project joins host Raina Douris

The Prison Music Project album Long Time Gone came out of songwriting sessions musician Zoe Bookbinder taught at New Folsom Prison, a maximum-security facility in California. On the next World Cafe, we hear from Zoe, the project’s producer Ani DiFranco, and Nathen Jackson Brown, one of the nine writers, who met Zoe while serving a long sentence there.
