World Cafe 30th Anniversary show with host Raina Douris

World Cafe is diving into the archives for a 30th anniversary celebration that will continue all the way until the Spring! This week, we go back to 1993 to hear Sheryl Crow’s first-ever Cafe appearance, including live performances that were recorded just before her debut album, Tuesday Night Music Club, made her a household name. Plus, a more recent session with Jon Batiste – Earlier this year, he memorably combined two iconic songs for a moving political message. Then, host Raina Douris turns focus to the future with the next “30 Under 30” honoree – Young artists who are poised to be the next generation of World Cafe stars.
