Encore: “Through the Decades”: 1990s with host Raina Douris
The last decade of the 1900s was a good time to be an alternative rock artist. On this week’s “Through the Decades” series, World Cafe highlights different eras of music, and coming up, it’s some of the most influential artists of the ‘90s. A lot of alternative rock – like Beck, Radiohead, and Blur – but also some of the other defining acts of the ‘90s, like Beastie Boys, Sarah McLachlan, and A Tribe Called Quest. We’ll hear them all, and more.
