ENCORE: Echo in the Canyon joins host Talia Schlanger

In Laurel Canyon, Los Angeles in the mid-‘60s, bands like The Byrds, The Mamas and the Papas, and The Beach Boys made music history – They electrified folk music and put poetry on the radio for the first time. Echo in the Canyon, a new documentary, tells the story of that influential musical moment, and today, Executive Producer Jakob Dylan of The Wallflowers and Director Andy Slater stop by to talk about the making of the film. Plus, Jakob covers some Laurel Canyon classics in a live performance with guests Cat Power and Jade Castrinos.
