ENCORE: Rhett Miller joins host Raina Douris
Rhett Miller is the frontman of Old 97’s, who pioneered alt-country in the ‘90s and have continued to expand their sound over the course of twelve studio albums. On top of that, Rhett’s celebrated SOLO career recently reached a new milestone with the release of The Misfit. He stops by the World Cafe to talk about making the new record with producer Sam Cohen in upstate New York, where they’re neighbors, AND what he’s learned about music from writing children’s books.
