SOP Athens – David Barbe and Nuci’s Space join host Raina Douris

Nuçi Phillips left an indelible mark on Athens, Georgia. After the young musician died by suicide in 1996, his mother Linda Phillips established a non-profit in his name — to help other musicians find the mental health support they need. As part of World Cafe’s Sense of Place: Athens series, we visit Nuçi’s Space to find out how the non-profit has helped change the way Athens’ music community talks about mental health.
