Lucinda Williams joins host Raina Douris

Lucinda Williams has always carved her own path – It’s true in her music, which has defied genre labels over the course of 20 albums. And it’s true in her politics. Her songs have tackled injustice and civil rights, and with her latest record, Good Souls Better Angels, she reflects on today’s America. Lucinda joins host Raina Douris today to talk about the new music, what it was like growing up as the daughter of poet Miller Williams, and about the time she was kicked out of school for refusing to say the Pledge of Allegiance.
