Great article from UK’s The Telegraph about Beck with the release of his new album Morning Phase. 

Pop is inherently a young forum. I used to think that I would stop making music when I was 40. In fact, I kind of did for a few years, but when I started playing live again it felt like my body of work still had a lot of holes in it that still needed filling in. Anyway, nowadays the Rolling Stones are headlining festivals at 70, and you get artists going on into their 80s, just like the old bluesmen used to do. And I see no reason at all why I shouldn’t do that.
