When we were in Austin last month, we had the privilege of visiting Jim Eno at his Public Hi-Fi studio. You probably know him best as the drummer of Spoon, but he’s also built up an impressive resume over the years as an engineer and producer, from roots rock to indie pop and psychedelic folk. Here’s an introduction to his work from behind the board. He engineered Alejandro Escovdeo’s “Man of the World” with Tony Visconti producing; the rest are all Eno productions.
