Encore: Lido Pimienta joins host Raina Douris

At age 19, Lido Pimienta moved from Colombia to Canada to pursue her artistic career – And she still has complicated feelings about the country she grew up in. She explores these feelings on her latest album, Miss Colombia, which was on the short list for Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album Grammy this year. On the next World Cafe, Pimienta talks with host Raina Douris about her move across continents, and how that led her to change her music dramatically. Plus, she performs some of the new songs live.
